How to descale an espresso machine?

To continue serving delicious coffee to your customers, you need to clean your machine thoroughly and regularly. Most espresso machines indicate when they need to be descaled, so you don't have to keep track of it. However, you shouldn't wait too long to clean the machine. We at Horeca.com are happy to give you some tips on how to descale your machine. It all starts with emptying and cleaning the water reservoir. Then, fill the water reservoir with descaling solution to the indicated level. Place a large bowl under the coffee maker to catch the water and start the descaling process. Empty the bowl once it's completely full and then rinse the water reservoir with water. Some machines rinse partially automatically.
