BIRKENSTOCK is a global brand and one of the best-known German brands in the world. With around 6,200 employees, the traditional company is also the largest employer in the German footwear industry. BIRKENSTOCK has a vertically integrated production and produces all footbeds in Germany. In addition, more than 95% of all products are produced in our own production facilities in Rhineland-Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Saxony and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
