Safe grill plate
The electric grill plate is a sturdy stainless steel appliance that is safe to use. The griddle is equipped with stainless steel splash guards that prevent oil splatters. The cooking fat is collected in a stainless steel drip tray located underneath the grill plate. The grill plate is protected against overloading; if the temperature of the grill plate becomes too hot, it will stop heating. The four rubber feet ensure that the grill plate stands stably and cannot slide away.
Quick preparation
The grill plate is very easy to use; the griddle has an on/off button and a robust rotary knob for the temperature. Turn on the grill plate with the on button, grease the grilling surface with oil, and set the desired temperature. The grill plate has a wide temperature range of 50 - 300°C; you can set any desired temperature using the rotary knob. When the griddle has reached the desired temperature, the temperature indicator light turns off and you can place the food on the grill plate.
Grooved grill plate
This grill plate has two different surfaces: one half with grooves and the other half with a smooth surface. The grooved grill plate has the advantage of helping to drain juices and fats, keeping food juicy and flavorful. The grooves also ensure that a nice imprint is left on vegetables or meat, for example.
Smooth grill plate
The smooth grill plate is primarily used for delicate foods, such as fish or vegetables. However, you can of course also fry an egg on it. The smooth surface makes it easy to turn food. This allows you not only to bake and roast, but also to stir-fry vegetables. The grill plates have a thickness of 6mm and do not warp due to the heat.
Quick and simple cleaning
The grill plate heats up quickly, making it ideal for busy kitchens. However, the grill plate also cools down quickly, making it easy to clean. Turn off the grill plate and remove coarse cooking residue with a brush or scraper. It is best to do this while the grill plate is still warm. For safety, wear gloves when removing the dirt. You can also wipe the grill plates with a paper towel. This primarily removes grease from between the grooves.
Remove stubborn dirt by heating the appliance to 75°C and pouring some water, optionally with a mild food-safe cleaning agent, onto the grill surface. Clean the surface with a scraper or brush to remove the stubborn dirt. Sweep the dirt into the drip tray and empty it when it is full. Clean the entire grill plate with a damp cloth and then dry the grill plate thoroughly with a soft cloth. Remove the detachable accessories, clean them with soapy water, dry them, and place them back on the griddle.
